Dangerous high winds and suddenly higher waves are expected! Seek shelter or move to safe harbor immediately! Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots, high waves, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain are possible with these storms. Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.

Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM... Coastal waters from the Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon Louisiana out 20 NM... Terrebonne Bay... * Until 1000 PM CDT. * At 825 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms was located along a line extending from 6 nm north of Lower Atchafalaya River to 6 nm north of Dulac to 8 nm south of Chauvin to 7 nm west of Grand Isle to 8 nm southeast of Barataria Bay, moving south at 35 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include...
