Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 345 AM CDT. * At 208 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 36 nm south of Louisiana Offshore Oil Port, or 44 nm southwest of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River, moving south at 15 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
