For the following areas... North Mobile Bay... At 316 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm producing waterspouts was located over Battleship Park, moving east at 10 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Broadcast media reported forming waterspout next to Battleship Park. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Battleship Park, Pinto Island, and Mouth Of Mobile River.
