Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are expected. Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.

For the following areas... Pensacola Bay Area including Santa Rosa Sound... Perdido Bay Area... At 454 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 10 nm west of Escambia Bay Bridge, or 14 nm north of Pensacola Pass, moving south at 15 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Arnica Bay, Lillian Bridge, Pensacola Bay, West Santa Rosa Sound, Perdido Bay, Fort Pickens, East Bay, Escambia Bay Bridge, Escambia Bay, and Pensacola Bay Bridge.
