Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are expected. Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded metal objects.

Bulletin details

For the following areas... Apalachee Bay or Coastal Waters From Keaton Beach to Ochlockonee River Fl out to 20 Nm... Coastal Waters From Ochlockonee River to Apalachicola FL out to 20 Nm... At 346 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near St. Marks to 15 nm northwest of Marker 24 Barge to 26 nm north of K Tower, moving southeast at 10 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Locations impacted include... Marker 24 Barge.
