Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach out 20 NM... * Until 330 PM EDT/230 PM CDT/. * At 246 PM EDT/146 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm producing waterspouts was located 8 nm southwest of Port St. Joe, moving southeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can capsize boats...damage vessels...and create suddenly higher waves.
