Tampa Bay waters... * Until 400 PM EDT. * At 305 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located 9 nm east of Tampa Bay, moving west at 20 knots, with another cluster offshore Sarasota county, also moving west at 20 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours.
