Waters from Englewood to Tarpon Springs FL out 20 to 60 NM... * Until 600 PM EDT. * At 519 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 11 nm southwest of Gasparilla Island, moving north at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. * Locations impacted include... Gasparilla Island, Manasota Key, Captiva, Englewood, Don Pedro Island, and Sanibel.
