For the following areas... Nearshore and Open waters from Vermilion OH to Avon Point OH... At 826 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line north of Sheffield, moving east at 45 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Lorain Harbor and Avon Point.
