Nearshore and Open waters from Geneva-on-the-lake OH to Ripley NY... * Until 1015 AM EDT. * At 930 AM EDT, showers producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 8 nm southwest of Ripley to near Ashtabula, moving south at 10 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Geneva-On-The-Lake, Ashtabula, and Erie.
