Open waters from Willowick OH to Ripley NY... * Until 515 PM EDT. * At 350 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 31 nm northwest of Erie to 34 nm north of Ashtabula to 39 nm north of Fairport Harbor, moving east at 55 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Erie.
