For the following areas... Lake Huron from Presque Isle Lt. to Sturgeon Point MI 5NM off shore to US/Canadian border... At 1213 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 25 nm east of Northern Lake Huron Buoy, moving east at 45 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
