For the following areas... Green Bay North of line from Cedar River MI to Rock Island Passage... At 803 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 8 nm west of Minneapolis Shoal, moving southeast at 25 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to nearly 50 knots, and large hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. Locations impacted include... Minneapolis Shoal and St Martin Island.
