For the following areas... Lake Michigan from Charlevoix to Point Betsie MI 5NM Offshore to mid lake... Lake Michigan from Point Betsie to Manistee MI 5NM offshore to Mid Lake... Manistee to Point Betsie MI... At 1144 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Frankfort, moving east at 40 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Portage Lake, Williamsport, Arcadia, Frankfort, Point Betsie, and Pierport.
