Bulletin details

For the following areas... Nearshore waters from Two Rivers to Sheboygan... Open waters of Lake Michigan from Two Rivers to Sheboygan... At 101 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 20 NM southeast of Rawley Point Light, moving southeast at 30 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, large hail, and wind gusts in excess of 50 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high winds and hail. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves. This strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
