Bulletin details

For the following areas... Black River To Ontonagon MI... Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to Portage Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle Royale National Park... Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI... Saxon Harbor WI to Black River MI... At 538 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 31 nm southeast of The Western Lake Superior Buoy, moving northeast at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
