At 740 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 24 nm southwest of The Upper Entrance of Portage Canal, or 34 nm southeast of The Western Lake Superior Buoy, moving east at 35 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
