For the following areas... Grand Marais to Whitefish Point MI... Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish Point MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border... At 319 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 30 nm northwest of Whitefish Point to 15 nm west of Naomikong Point, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Muskallonge State Park.
