Bulletin details

For the following areas... Grand Marais to Whitefish Point MI... Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish Point MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border... At 1146 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Whitefish Point, moving southeast at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
