Lake Superior from Upper Entrance to Portage Canal to Manitou Island MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian Border... * Until 930 PM EDT. * At 829 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 16 nm northeast of Rock of Ages Light, or 19 nm west of Mott Island Park Headquarters, moving southeast at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
