For the following areas... Grand Marais to Whitefish Point MI... Lake Superior East of a line from Manitou Island to Marquette MI and West of a line from Grand Marais MI to the US/Canadian Border Beyond 5NM from shore... Lake Superior from Grand Marais MI to Whitefish Point MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border... Munising to Grand Marais MI... At 248 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 32 nm north of Muskallonge State Park to near Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include... Grand Sable Dunes and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
