Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 1100 PM CDT. * At 957 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 26 nm southeast of Okaloosa Deep Water Reef, or 32 nm southwest of Panama City Beach, moving south at 30 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. * The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
