What is happening
Water levels are expected to rise to 1 to 2 feet above the normal high tide line around Baldwin Peninsula and northern coastlines of the Kotzebue Sound, peaking in the early morning and diminishing rapidly Wednesday afternoon as the cold front moves through. Gusty westerly winds 20 to 30 mph will occur.
