What is happening
Water levels will rise slightly with each high tide Wednesday night through Friday morning. The highest water level rises will be in Eastern Norton Sound, around 1 to 3 feet above the normal high tide line. Water level rises around 0.5 to 1.5 feet are expected from Golovin to Nome.
