Bulletin details
A Bering Sea low will move into the Gulf of Anadyr then the Chukchi Sea on Monday. South-southwest winds will increase water levels to around 1 to 3 feet above the normal high tide line during the Monday and Tuesday high tides from Wainwright to Utqiagvik. Water levels around 2 to 4 feet above the normal high tide line are possible from Point Lay to Point Hope. Secondly, winds will shift west-northwest Tuesday afternoon which can prolong high water levels into Wednesday. There is still quite a bit of uncertainty with the exact water level heights and they will be monitored over the next few days.
