At 426 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Blue Springs State Park to near Newton to near Geneva to 8 miles northeast of De Funiak Springs to 10 miles east of Crestview. Movement was east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... De Funiak Springs, Dothan, Headland, Hartford, Taylor, Midland City, Slocomb, Newton, Ariton, Pinckard, Eglin Air Force Base, Union, Liberty, Malvern, Paxton, Ponce De Leon, Grimes, Newville, Caryville, and Esto.
