At 733 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Henagar, or 11 miles north of Fort Payne, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Fort Payne, Henagar, Sylvania, Ider, Valley Head, Hammondville, Mentone, Sulpher Springs, and Desoto State Park.
