At 414 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Morgan City, or 11 miles north of Arab. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Southern Huntsville, Redstone Arsenal, Owens Cross Roads, Morgan City, Union Grove, Laceys Spring, Whitesburg, and Valhermoso Springs.
