Bulletin details

At 253 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Brinn, or 9 miles west of Haleyville, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hamilton, Haleyville, Hackleburg, Brilliant, Brinn, Weston, Lake Buttahatchee, Bear Creek, Posey Field Airport, Tessner, Pearces Mill, Rankin Fite Airport, Upper Bear Creek Reservoir, Pigeye, and Piney Grove. This includes Interstate 22 between mile markers 7 and 18.
