At 316 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Jena, or 13 miles southeast of Gordo, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Southern Tuscaloosa, Northport, Gordo, Moundville, Coker, McFarland Mall, Benevola, Shelton State Community College, Tuscaloosa Amphitheater, Mantua, Jena, Tuscaloosa National Airport, University Mall, Snoddy, Englewood, Ralph, Little Sandy, Moundville Airport, Fosters Boat Landing, and Hull. This includes Interstate 59 between mile markers 54 and 73.
