At 202 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Calera, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Calera, Columbiana, Jemison, Lay Lake, Shelby, Minooka Park, Bounds Lake, Shelby Shores, Highway 145 and CR 46, Spring Creek, and Kelley Branch.
