At 300 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Eoline, or 7 miles northwest of Brent, moving northwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tuscaloosa, Brent, Centreville, Holt, Brookwood, Coaling, Vance, McFarland Mall, Shelton State Community College, Lake Wildwood, University Mall, Deerlick Creek Campgrounds, Low Gap, Eoline, Englewood, Cottondale, Little Sandy, Maxwell, Peterson, and Hagler. This includes Interstate 59 between mile markers 69 and 88.
