At 642 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Moundville, or 16 miles southwest of Tuscaloosa, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Moundville, Mound State Park, Elliots Creek, Maxwell, Harper Hill, Wateroak, Moundville Airport, Phipps, Havana, and Hull.
