At 251 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Arley, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Jasper, Haleyville, Lynn, Arley, Double Springs, Addison, Nauvoo, Curry, Houston Recreational Area, Camp McDowell, Smith Dam, Ashbank, Nesmith, Brushy Lake, Poplar Springs, Ashridge, Falls City, Moreland, Smith Lake, and Helicon. This includes Interstate 22 between mile markers 39 and 45.
