At 609 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Wheatley, or 7 miles west of Palestine, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Forrest City, Marianna, Madison, Palestine, Wheatley, Haynes, New Salem, Gill, Oak Forest, Bonair, Slonikers Mill, Westor, Four Forks, Burnt Cane, Goodwin, Four Gums, Felton, Posey, Dodsons Corner, and Heustess. This includes Interstate 40 in Arkansas between mile markers 219 and 239.
