At 819 AM MST /919 AM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles northwest of Tuba City, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Coconino County. This includes U.S. Highway 89 between mile markers 484 and 499.
