At 812 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Central Heights-Midland City, or 9 miles north of Globe, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of Gila County. This includes the following highways... US Highway 60 between mile markers 257 and 279. AZ Route 188 between mile markers 217 and 230.
