At 542 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms 4 miles northeast of Todd Creek, or 22 miles north of Denver, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Northeastern Denver, northwestern Aurora, Thornton, eastern Arvada, Westminster, Broomfield, Commerce City, Northglenn, Brighton, Erie, Federal Heights, Firestone, Denver International Airport, D.I.A Terminal and Concourses, Frederick, Fort Lupton, Lochbuie and Dacono.
