Prepare for sudden gusty winds. Secure loose objects and move to a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. Blowing dust brings reduced visibility, leading to dangerous driving conditions. If driving, avoid blowing dust if possible. If caught in dense blowing dust, pull off the road, turn off your lights and keep your foot off the brake.

At 340 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers and thunderstorms extending from near Severance to Boulder, or extending from 10 miles east of Fort Collins to 24 miles northwest of Denver, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs, produce blowing dust restricting visibility, and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Greeley, northern Thornton, Boulder, Broomfield, Brighton, Lafayette, Windsor, Evans, Louisville, Erie, Firestone, Johnstown, Frederick, Fort Lupton, Milliken, Berthoud and Lochbuie.
