At 1021 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Hayden, or 20 miles east of Craig, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Steamboat Springs, Hayden, Milner, and Tow Creek. This includes U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 108 and 129.
