At 254 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles northwest of Kit Carson, or 29 miles south of Flagler, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Cheyenne County in east central Colorado, including the following locations... Wild Horse and Aroya.
