At 703 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong winds produced by decaying thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles north of Sugar City to 6 miles west of Cheraw to near Swink. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... La Junta, North La Junta, Rocky Ford, Las Animas, Ordway, Swink, Sugar City, Cheraw, Blue Lake, and Arlington.
