At 626 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Collbran, or 27 miles east of Grand Junction, moving southwest at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Collbran, Mesa, and Molina. This includes Colorado 65 between mile markers 48 and 56.
