At 314 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 5 miles southwest of Byers to over Elbert, or extending from 36 miles east of Denver to 42 miles southeast of Denver, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Elbert, Elizabeth, Kiowa, Ponderosa Park and Fondis.
