Bulletin details

At 133 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a landspout near Bethune, or 9 miles southwest of Burlington, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Landspout tornadoes, wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Kit Carson County. This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 423 and 435.
