At 749 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles east of Thurman, or 17 miles north of Flagler, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Kit Carson County. Localized wind gusts up to 55 mph are possible with any shower or storm, even if there is no rain and little or no lightning.
