At 707 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Thurman, or 21 miles northwest of Flagler, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Kit Carson County. Localized wind gusts up to 55 mph are possible with any shower or storm, even if there is no rain and little or no lightning.
