At 516 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 3 miles southeast of Flagler to 15 miles northeast of Boyero to 6 miles west of Kit Carson to 9 miles west of Eads. Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Mesonet. Weather Station near Aroya, CO reported a 57 mph gust. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Flagler and Kit Carson around 520 PM MDT. This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 390 and 408.
