At 325 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Vernal, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Vernal, Naples, and Maeser. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 40 in Utah between mile markers 139 and 159. U.S. Highway 191 in Utah between mile markers 353 and 356.
