Bulletin details

At 458 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Cotopaxi, or 54 miles west of Pueblo, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, half inch hail and torrential rainfall. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Heavy rainfall could cause ponding of water on paved road surfaces, washouts on dirt roads, and quick runoff causing high flows in area creeks, streams and normally dry washouts. Locations impacted include... Cotopaxi, Texas Creek, and Hillside.
